We love the backpack that comes with the balance bike! The small bag sits on the front of the bike and is perfect for storing snacks or a spare outfit for your child. The bag detaches easily from the bike and can be worn as a backpack by your child. We found this made our little ones feel more independent, helping them feel more confident on the bike.

Steering Angle Limiter

A unique feature that impressed us was the steering angle limiter. With this, you can choose between two modes that limit the angle your child can steer the bike, reducing their chances of hurting themselves.

You can choose between the beginner mode with a 90-degree steering angle and the advanced mode, which offers 125 degrees of steering. We liked that we could limit how much steering our child could do, helping them gain confidence before being able to move the wheel more freely. It reassured us that they were safe, too, making it a good choice for anxious parents.

Fast Assembly

We loved how quickly we could assemble the Biky Retro! It took less than five minutes to assemble the bike, allowing us to build and use it instantly. We found the instructions easy to follow, reassuring us that we were building the bike correctly, so we did not need to worry about our child's safety while they rode.

Unlike other balance bikes on the market, the Cross Balance bike has a handbrake, which helps your child remain in control. It is perfect for slowing down their speed and stopping the bike and will prepare them for bikes in the future with gears and brakes they will need to handle. We liked how comfortable the handbrake was to hold and how easy it was for our little ones to reach, making it easier to teach them and encourage them to use it.

Adjustable Saddle Height

We loved how easy it was to adjust the saddle height on the bike, too, keeping our children comfortable as they grew. The seat can be raised and lowered easily to ensure they can touch the floor without needing to stretch. We liked that we could raise the seat to allow them to use the bike for longer and thought it made the bike a fine choice for parents of taller children.

Anti Slip Footrests

We like a balance bike with footrests, as it encourages and prepares children for cycling in the future. However, we always worry about their feet slipping and any potential injuries. Thankfully, the Cross Balance bike has anti-slip footrests that ensure your child's feet do not slip, no matter the shoes they wear. We were impressed with how well the footrests performed, even in wet weather out child wet shoes did not slip!
